This Privacy Policy explains how [DEVELOPER NAME], the developer of Color by Number on Google Play, collects, uses and shares information when you use Color by Number (the “Game”, Android package com.villain.colorbynumber). [DEVELOPER NAME] is the developer name of [LEGAL ENTITY] (“we”, “us”, “our”) on Google Play.
By installing or playing the Game you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
1. Who we are
| Game | Color by Number (com.villain.colorbynumber) |
| Developer on Google Play | [DEVELOPER NAME] |
| Legal entity | [LEGAL ENTITY] |
| Address | [ADDRESS] |
| [EMAIL] |
We are responsible for the personal information processed through the Game.
2. Information we collect
The Game has no user accounts and no sign-in. We do not ask for your name, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.
a. Information collected automatically when you play
- Device and app information: device model, operating system and version, language, country (estimated from your IP address), app version, and identifiers such as the Firebase app instance ID and installation ID.
- Advertising identifier: your device’s Android Advertising ID, used by our advertising partners (see section 4).
- Usage information: screens opened, pictures started, finished or left, hints and gems used, rewards received, ads watched, purchases made in the Game, buttons tapped, session length and similar in-game events.
- Crash and performance information: crash reports, error logs and the state of the device when a crash happens.
- Network information: your IP address, which our service providers receive when the Game connects to them.
b. Information about purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Google Play. We receive the product purchased, the purchase status and an order identifier so that we can give you the subscription’s benefits and restore them. We never receive or store your card or payment details.
c. Downloading pictures
The Game downloads its list of pictures and the picture files from our content server (catalog-cdn.villainapps.com), delivered through Cloudflare. The server receives your IP address and basic technical details of the request so that it can send the files back. We do not use them to identify you.
d. Reminders
If you allow notifications, the Game schedules a daily reminder to come back and color. The reminder is created on your device, not sent from a server. You can turn it off in the Game’s settings or in your device settings.
e. Saving and sharing your pictures
When you save a finished picture, it is written to your device’s storage. When you share one, Android’s share menu sends it to the app you choose, under that app’s own policy. We do not receive it.
f. Information you give us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
If you send feedback from the Game (Settings › Feedback), we receive the text you write together with the app version, your device model, operating system and version, language, whether you have a Premium subscription, how many days ago you installed the Game and how many pictures you have finished. Feedback is not linked to your name, email address, Advertising ID or any account, and we cannot reply to it. Please do not include personal information in your feedback; if you want an answer, email us instead (section 12).
g. Information stored only on your device
Your pictures and coloring progress, finished works, gems, hints, achievements and settings are saved on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. Uninstalling the Game or clearing its data deletes them.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- run the Game and deliver its pictures;
- give you the benefits of a Premium subscription and restore them;
- show ads, including personalised ads where you have agreed to them, and measure them;
- understand how players use the Game and improve pictures, features and difficulty;
- find and fix crashes and bugs;
- adjust game settings remotely (for example rewards or which features are shown) without an app update;
- answer your messages and support requests, and read the feedback you send to improve the Game;
- detect abuse and comply with our legal obligations.
Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland). We rely on our legitimate interests to run, secure and improve the Game; on the performance of our contract with you to provide the Game and your subscription; on your consent for personalised advertising where the law requires it; and on legal obligations where they apply.
4. Advertising
The Game shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may also fill an ad through Meta Audience Network (mediation), which then receives the same kind of information:
- Full-screen ads may appear when you open the Game or come back to it after a while (app open ads), and when you start, leave or finish a picture (interstitial ads).
- Banner ads appear at the bottom of the screen while you color.
- Rewarded ads are optional: you choose to watch one to get a reward, such as hints or a picture.
Our advertising partners may use your Advertising ID, IP address and device information to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and prevent fraud.
Your choices:
- If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the Game asks for your consent when it starts, using Google’s consent tool, before any ad is requested.
- To change your choice later, clear the Game’s data (Settings › Apps › Color by Number › Storage › Clear data): the consent dialog appears again the next time you open the Game. Clearing data also deletes your pictures and progress on that device. You can also contact us (section 12).
- In your device settings (Settings › Google › Ads or Settings › Privacy › Ads) you can delete or reset your Advertising ID and opt out of personalised ads.
A Premium subscription removes full-screen and banner ads; rewarded ads stay available because you choose to watch them.
5. Third-party services
We share information with these service providers only so that they can provide their service to us. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:
| Service | Purpose | Privacy policy |

| Google Firebase Analytics | Usage statistics | firebase.google.com/support/privacy |
| Google Firebase Crashlytics | Crash reports | firebase.google.com/support/privacy |
| Google Firebase Remote Config | Remote game settings | firebase.google.com/support/privacy |
| Google Cloud Firestore (Firebase) | Storing the feedback you send | firebase.google.com/support/privacy |
| Google AdMob | Advertising | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Meta Audience Network | Advertising (through AdMob mediation) | facebook.com/privacy/policy |
| Google Play Billing | Subscriptions | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Cloudflare | Delivering picture files | cloudflare.com/privacypolicy |
| Google Play | Distributing the Game | policies.google.com/privacy |
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of players, or to a buyer or successor if the Game is sold or transferred.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing your Advertising ID with our advertising partners for personalised ads may count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some US state laws. You can opt out using the choices in section 4.
6. International transfers
Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate, which may have different data protection laws from your country. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses used by these providers.
7. Data retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above:
- analytics data is kept for a limited period set in Firebase;
- crash reports are kept for about 90 days;
- support emails are kept until your request is resolved and for a reasonable time afterwards;
- feedback sent from the Game is kept only as long as it helps us improve the Game. Because feedback is not linked to you, to have one deleted please tell us what you wrote and roughly when you sent it.
Information stored on your device stays there until you clear the Game’s data or uninstall it.
8. Children
The Game is not directed to children under 13 (or under the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access, correct or delete your personal information;
- object to or restrict its processing;
- withdraw your consent at any time;
- opt out of targeted advertising;
- receive your data in a portable format.
To make a request, email [EMAIL] with the subject “Color by Number privacy request”. Because the Game has no accounts, we may ask for information that helps us find the data linked to your device. We will reply within the time required by law, and we will not treat you differently for using your rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Security
Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, and our providers use industry-standard security. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time, for example when a new version of the Game changes what it collects. The new version is posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If the changes are significant, we will tell you in the Game or on this page.
